Otu Hostel By Ostic - Yogyakarta

I recently stayed at Otu Hostel in Yogyakarta for a week. The staff, including Efan, Jason, and Amalia, were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing me with great recommendations for restaurants and bars nearby. The location was central, with multiple dining options within walking distance. The swimming pool and common area were fantastic, and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The overall hospitality was top-notch, and I felt like I was staying with friends rather than at a hostel. A truly amazing experience!

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing lots of information and suggestions for my trip. the location was perfect, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars. the hostel had a great community vibe, with the staff and fellow travelers becoming friends. the amenities were on point, including a pool and free breakfast with a selection of Indonesian snacks.

Felt so well taken care of, no reason to complain.

We had a decent stay over the Christmas holiday. The common area was clean and comfortable, and the pool was a nice addition. We especially appreciated the fact that there was a water refill available, which saved us from constantly buying bottled water. The location was also pretty good, with plenty of places to eat nearby and a pub just around the corner. The staff were friendly and helpful, taking us out to explore the local markets and treating us to a nice dinner. One of the staff members, Nada, even went the extra mile to help us book tickets and kept me company for milkshakes.

There were a few things that could have been better. there was some misinformation given by the staff regarding transportation to a popular temple.

otu hostel by ostic exceeded my expectations during my recent stay in yogyakarta. the staff was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home, the pool was a perfect addition to the already amazing atmosphere, and the beds were the most comfortable i've ever slept in while traveling. can't wait to come back!

No organized events or group gatherings.

I had an amazing stay at Otu Hostel By Ostic! The bed was alwayssuper clean and cozy, and the washroom had a great ergonomic design. The breakfast options were varied and reasonably priced, and they even provided tea, coffee, and kitchen facilities. The swimming pool was always clean and inviting. The staff made an effort to know me by name and organized fun activities for the guests. I ended up extending my stay because I loved it so much. Highly recommended!

As low-budget travelers, we loved the facilities at Otu Hostel. the swimming pool and common area were great for relaxation and socializing. the clean rooms and good wifi made our stay comfortable. the bathrooms were also clean and convenient. the staff, including Efan, Jason, and Amalia, were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and bars, even for vegetarians like us. Amalia went above and beyond to assist us with planning day tours and organizing our Bromo and Ijen trip. We appreciated the staff's genuine hospitality and the informative guidance they provided. the location of the hostel was central, with multiple dining and entertainment options nearby.

They were really nice too make sure I had everything I needed and provided great recommendations for local food. The themed dorm room I stayed in was unique and comfortable, and the pool was a refreshing bonus. I had a fantastic experience at Otu Hostel By Ostic and would highly recommend it to others.

The location of the hostel was perfect, right at the heart of the backpacker area and close to all the main tourist attractions. It was situated on a bustling street with many popular western restaurants and convenient shops nearby. the hostel itself had a clean and spacious room with comfortable beds and a well-maintained bathroom. the staff provided excellent service, always ready to help and assist with any inquiries. the breakfast served was varied and delicious, offering good portions to start the day. the hostel also had a great pool, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sun.

The wifi in the room could be a bit inconsistent at times, although it worked perfectly fine in the common areas of the hostel.

Clean hostel with spacious beds and a women-only dorm. The top floor feels like a private room with friends. Helpful and kind staff. Cool air conditioning. Recommended for travelers.

The best part of my stay was the friendly staff. They were always ready to help and had a great attitude. Another thing I liked was the comfortable bed, it made my stay relaxing. The location was also convenient as there were plenty of restaurants and mini markets nearby.

The worst aspect of my stay was the cleanliness. I encountered small insects in my room and even in the common areas like the lounge and kitchen.

Clean, comfortable bunk beds with own plug socket, light, and curtain. Plenty of ensuite bathrooms, no queues. Great common space, awesome swimming pool. Good breakfast, changes daily. Friendly and helpful staff, fluent in English. Convenient location near eateries and mini markets. Recommended for short or long stays.
